Fantasy, light romance, fascinating history and more

"Time Tangle" was a favorite of mine as a teen and I've just been re-reading it and still find it fun. The main character is forced to spend her Christmas holidays at her English boarding school with only the nuns for company. She discovers secrets involving a hidden priest's hole, meets a handsome boy from 400 years ago, and ultimately must find a way to travel back in time to save lives.
