This VeBS program is based on the Time-Stone Travelers series of books, which emphasizes the Ten Commandments. Site 1: Mayan Jungle While Studying Commandments 1 and 2 in the Mayan Jungle, children will learn that they must worship only the one true God. Site 2: Medieval Castle In a Medieval Castle children will study Commandments 3 and 4 and learn to use the Lord's name only with respect and to set aside time to worship God. Site 3: Ancient Laboratory While visiting an Ancient Laboratory, children will study Commandment 5 and learn that God wants them to respect, honor, and obey their parents. Site 4: Hawk's Village As they spend time in an Indian village, children will study Commandments 6, 7, 8, and 9 and learn that God wants them to treat others with kindness. Site 5: Hawaiian Volcano While faced with the challenges of a Hawaiian volcano, children will study Commandment 10 and understand that God wants us to be happy with what He has given us.
