Almost Perfect

The Time Out guides are ideal for the under 40 group. Most of the listings are timely and right on the mark. Supplement this purchase with the actually weekly paper once you arrive in Dublin or London. Unfortunately, the hotel listings leave much to be desired, since you don't get a complete listing, and may be disappointed when you arrive and find that there were other options.On the whole, the guides have a wider variety of information, though not as generous as Blue Guides, they can be pocketed easily, or carried about without looking like an Ugly American.Take a look at the price! Think about it! How can any guide appeal to every age group! It cannot. So if you're tastes are more early 90's and less Early Bird Dinner...this is the practical guide!
