Tormented by the loss of his wife and daughter, Scott Fields has moved to a small lakeside town to start a new life. One afternoon, while Scott is numbing his pain at a local watering hole (Sully's), he notices a willowy female figure at the edge of town walking intently towards him. This is Larah, and although she is unable to speak, forces Scott to drive her to a remote beach on the outskirts of town where she digs up a mysterious pulsating hourglass. The growing unreality only deepens when Scott brings Larah back to his flat. There she invokes a vision of a future island city, where men in gray uniforms have separated her from her seven year old daughter. Can Scott help Larah unlock the mystery of the hourglass and rescue her daughter before the suspicious townspeople and the men in the gray uniforms can stop him? Only time will tell.
