Commodore Clever and the crew of the time ship Blue Magic take on the awesome responsibility of defending earth from and invasion by the Rathe. The Time Keepers gather a small but powerful armada of ships from throughout the universe to aid them. Through daring and bold battle plans Commodore devises a way to eventually defeat the Rathe Armada and capture their leader. Their leader is none other than the alternate reality General George Malleck. She must be returned to Quantum Space to stand trial for her war crimes. General Malleck escapes for the Quantum Watchers and must be recaptured and turned over to the Time Keepers. As a reward for saving earth, the Time Keepers agree to return Gerry Clever's dead son to him alive.
