Highly recommended time travel rich with history

I am becoming a real fan of this author, Thomas Hamilton. Time For Patriots is a heady trip back in time to the American Revolution where we meet many important historical figures. It is handled with such care and clarity, it thrills when you feel as if you have actually met them. Hamilton is quite obviously an astute lover of history and brings alive one of the most important periods in American History in a unique and delightful way. Another book of Mr. Hamilton's that I read titled Weird Thoughts, is a recent release which contains 17 engaging short stories and 7 very accessible essays.I highly recommend both the novel; Time For Patriots and the anthology Weird Thoughts.
