Author Carissa Kopf's passion for writing started when she attended a literature course at Suffolk Community College and wrote a poem called The Great Wanter, which was published in the Cassandra College Magazine. She found she enjoyed the creative writing process. Spending the summers on the east end of Long Island inspired her to write this love and suspense novella.
