Wonderful!

This book has gotten my nephew interested in geography and learning in ways that other books that I bought him didn't. Wonderful series of books!

great resource

This is a great resource for anyone homeschooling, or doing a state study. The book is interactive, and my kids love it.

No mistakes yet!

I have the 2005 edition, and have yet to come across a mistake. Santa Fe is correctly identified as the capital of New Mexico, and the western states are correct as well. Neither do I see any glaring errors as to regional classification, as noted by the previous reviewer, so those errors have apparently been corrected. This is our favorite "states" book. Beautiful photos, lots of charts and info boxes, as well as nifty interactive flaps, wheels, tabs, etc. The amount of information is just right for my seven-year old and holds her interest well. A great educational series that makes learning fun.
