Time and Space

IntroductionWhy write poems of love, life, philosophy and the many interesting psychological topics? It's very difficult to answer in a few words. The inspiration comes directly from the heart and not the head most of the time, and the subject is focused directly on one particular incident. For myself I prefer calling the writing of these poems of free-verses the invisible councilor or psychologist that I can confess to and understand what it going on in my environment. The short written thoughts saves me from having to write a long dull article expressing the same ideas. The free-style genre of poems in this book takes the shape of many formats. More often than none the format took shape at the inception of writing the poem. Usually, I let it take it own form which feels goo and is easy to read not only for myself but for others too. The poems in his book were written during a lifetime for my own pleasure and they were never published, and the simple reason the styles vary from one format to another. The book is an invitation to enjoy poetry which readable by anyone. The intent is not scholarly, flamboyant, intellectual and snotty. It is being transparent and candid to a very personal level. It's only at this time that I decided the entire collection of poems should be published for the enjoyment of others.1- 0 Venus: Are love affairs that have gone wrong on account of drugs, alcohol, cheating, indifference and aloofness when one is alone at the age of twenty-seven, divorced and available to meet every type of women. The results can turn out to be psychologically upsetting.2 - 0 Mondial: Covers places in the world and the beauty of our planet. How different people in other countries live. There are scenes from enchanting landscapes and nature.3 - 0 Ages: It the realization that at a certain age in one's life the mind changes very little with time. The love of the opposite sex is just as prevalent as it was at a much earlier age, but that is only in the mind. Physically there are many impediments.4 - 0 Sailplanes: The poems embrace the love of flying an aircraft without an engine and to remain air born for hours only powered by the energy of the sun heating the surface of the ground. But it's much more than that simple explanation. Alone in a tight fitting cockpit and using natural energy at one's disposal is beyond trying to explain soaring in a few words.5 - 0 Refections: Is reflecting on a past life and asking a lot of questions that are neither here nor there. For further information about the author, please go to the internet and type "Maurice J Aubut - Art" for a brief-bio; additional hardback books and ebooks; different genre of artworks including oil paintings, collages and photography. The cover of this book is from one of my abstract oil paintings call 'Whirlwind' and was painted inn 2012 at Glenburn, Ontario.MJA
