Kylie Mireau's debut book is a memoir written in poetic form. The first of three books in her series titled Doomed to Blossom, "Tilling the Earth" is a coming-of-age reflection on her own young womanhood. It begins with her experience of a profound loss, then delves into a growing awareness of her unique sensitivities and her increasing connection to the Divine. She moves through the grieving process while also traversing the depths of love, passion, and inevitably - healing. Mireau's first published work is a meditation on the Self, the Feminine, and the very nature of Consciousness. She isn't afraid to explore the duality of human existence, the light as well as the dark- while honoring herself and her truth. Each poem is written with precision; while they are prayer-like in their affirmations to both the narrator and reader, they also tell a story.
