I was a single parent for many years and along the way discovered that the most important thing in life to me is being a mum. Having battled low self-esteem throughout most of my life, I found I could express myself through writing poetry. I have always enjoyed writing and now feel ready to share some of that with others. This book covers my life experiences, thoughts and feelings, in poem form. It deals with topics such as self-esteem, death and marriage, with a bit of humour added in too. I strongly believe our childhood shapes us and our whole future. I am passionate about good parenting. It can be difficult at times, but we have to try and get it right. It's a balance. Like walking a tightrope. I hope you will enjoy my book, as there is something in here for everyone.
