A children's book fo adults, too

Our little boy liked all the William Steig books. So did we. This Thanksgiving's magic moment: our boy (now 20) and I almost simultaneously expressed the desire to read Tiffky Doofke again. Its quirky haunting humor made us laugh so many times all those years ago. The boy, the dad, the mom, the uncle, everyone I know who ever read it - loved it.
