When party planner Tiffany Mitchell wakes up in her boyfriend's body, she thinks she's having a bad dream. But no amount of espresso can wake her from the growing nightmare of being trapped in Kurt's 6-foot tall figure and locked into his disorganized life. Due to this off-handed wish made over a magic candle, not only is Tiffany imprisoned inside her boyfriend's body, but Kurt is also struggling inside her own. Only time, a bit of New Orleans voodoo, and a growing mutual understanding can break the spell that traps the two.
To me this has to be one of her best works but then I have always been a push over for any story set in my home town San Francisco
Wonderfully unexpected

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a sexy, funny, well written book. Ms Tyler brings real insight into her characters and the situation they face.
A little different than her normal stories....

but quite good, as always. Ms. Tyler has a way of truly taking you into a character's psyche and she does not disappoint here. A great read!!

Ms Tyler made you feel as if you were really Tiffany inside of Kurt and vice versa, it amazed me how she got into the male mind...how she did that, I'll never know.... It's has a good story with a little bit of spice on the side. I think it's a hit. Check it out!
So funny my tummy hurt

The old body switch plot is a horribly formulaic device that has been used and reused and regurgitated over the years to the point of it becoming a tired old cliche. OK, so maybe it hasn't been used THAT much, but you get my point--you read the book description and you already know what you're in for. The fact is, I was in the bookstore looking for a different Alison Tyler book (With or Without You) but the only one they had was Tiffany Twisted. I wasn't too thrilled about reading a book about a girl stuck in a guy's body, normally I like my blended-gender fiction the other way, but hey, it's an Alison Tyler book so you know it has to be good. And honestly--it's outstanding. What makes this story work is the characters. You get a vivid sense of who Kurt and Tiffany really are: what makes them tick, why they do things, what's important to them etc. The fact that they are at completely opposite ends of the spectrum works in making this a truly funny story. Tiffany is so god-awful OCD about cleanliness, planning her day, her outfits, everything, that that alone would be funny. But of course, Kurt is a reckless slob and completely doesn't understand why Tiffany is the way she is, much less care. Having them switch bodies and just try and get along, let alone make it through the day, or cover for each other at work, is an adventure and a half. Ms. Tyler has done some serious thinking about what makes guys and gals tick: there are just certain things that both sexes tend to do that drive the other bonkers, and Kurt and Tiffany run head smack into them. There were some moments that I had to put the book down because I was laughing so hard I ended up crying. There is a lot more to the book than that, but to mention it would give parts of it away, so I'll leave it for you to find out on your own. The bottom line is: if you like well-developed characters, a funny story and great sex scenes, then you can't go wrong with Tiffany Twisted.
