When my parents moved to Brooklyn, Ohio, in 1950, my mother was pregnant with me. My parents bought a two story house on the corner of Tiedeman Road and Manoa Avenue. We lived there for twelve years while my parents completed their family. Growing up in Brooklyn was the best place in the world to live. The kid friendly neighborhood was paradise to us Johnson's and every other kid who had the privilege to live there in the 1950's. My brothers and all of their friends were an extraordinary story that needed telling and sharing. I hope you will love reading it as much as I loved living it.
