Padmasambhava a historical figure believed to have appeared miraculously in the blossom of a lotus in the lake called "Ocean of Milk" located on the Afghanistan-Pakistan frontier. Padmasambhava is commonly referred to in Tibet as the second Buddha. Legend relates how Padmasambhava converted the Tibetan people to Buddhism by subduing their most aggressive local deities, and performing magical feats, such as driving wooden daggers through solid rock and flying on the rays of the sun.Padmasambhava's revealed scrolls speak much about the hidden lands.
