We have a promise that the Word of God will be eternal and never fade. The Word of God is our foundation for successful Christian life. Matthew 24:35 says "Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear." Everything else will fade away but the Word of God will remain forever. It is our sure foundation. And then we must pray like Christ taught us: "May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10. This will guarantee that our lives will count for eternity.
