We pray, "The Kingdom Come," every Sunday, but do we really know what we are praying for? The vision that many Christian hold of the kingdom-that it is heaven, the perfect place where we go after we die, if we've been very, very good-limits what we can do and how we can be with God. Subscribing to that view makes us into rule followers. Is that what Jesus was asking of us? Or is He really talking about a deep relationship with God?
