Here are some questions to ponder: -Did you know that only 5% of churches in the United States have a sound discipleship program?-Does your church evangelize? -How is your church teaching discipleship? About three years ago, my wife and I started on this quest to make disciples. God burned it on our hearts to live out the Great Commission and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19). When we found out the church, we were attending said they made disciples, but it was microwave lessons, hot and fast. Spiritual formation needs to be full of crockpot lessons that are slow, understandable, and thorough. I was once asked me if there are any new revelations in this book.
