Through the storms, I survived, is a reflection on my life from conception to this year. This book will identify moments of survival as a teenager and as an adult. As I reflect on every single trial and tribulation that I have endured, I now realize why I went through those circumstances, and it is to inspire others.

Were these circumstances easy? Absolutely not. Did I cry a lot? Yes. Did I want to give up? Yes, but I survived. Did I want to take my own life during these years? Absolutely, and I survived. When those storms came, it became overwhelming and unbearable at times, but I would always hear the voice of my great-grandmother and my grandmother saying, "Pray, always remember to pray."
