Interesting Travel Journal

This is a very well written traveler's diary with insightful observations of the local people and their way of life. It is also an expression of the author's open minded view of the world and is easy to read. Some adventures encountered on her journey, are very funny and described in the author's unique style. The author obviously loves Peru and Ecuador and its people. This is suggested reading for anyone who enjoyes traveling in general or South America in particular, but also for readers who may be hesitant about traveling to other countries as they might feel assured by this author's often solo travels through South America.
