Heartwarming southern story

Thanks to NetGalley and Ballentine for a digital advance reader copy. All comments and opinions are my own unless otherwise noted. I’ve read Pamela Terry’s other two novels and enjoyed them immensely, so when I saw this one was available on NetGalley I requested it right away. Then somehow it got lost in my TBR pile and I just got around to reading it a year later. I’m sorry for the delay but so glad to have read this and to share with you. It checked all the boxes for me – southern small town, family secrets, siblings, plus magical realism in a feel-good story. It was well-written with distinctive characters dealing with grief and family dynamics. I highly recommend this sweet southern story with a heartwarming ending.
