Three Strikes and You're Out : A Bible and Baseball Journal is a year-long journal that allows the reader to contemplate specific Bible verses and then relive the exciting day-by-day 2023 major league baseball season. Each daily scripture was selected from the New International Version of The One Year Bible, and the baseball entries were compiled each day beginning March 30-the first day of the 2023 major league baseball regular season-and ending March 29, 2024, the conclusion of spring training.

Baseball entries include the hot stove offseason that some baseball enthusiasts find more interesting than regular-season action. Texas and Arizona, two wild card teams that played for the coveted World Series championship crown, are highlighted throughout the journal, and a reference link to the internet is provided to get more specific information about games played each day.
