Three Nights With A Scoundrel- Intriguing read!

A romantic tale of a deep abiding love described spectacularly by Tessa Dare. Lilly Chatwick, a deaf woman facing overwhelming challenges of the times; prejudices and ignorances of those perceived less than perfect. Her strengths are outlined beautifully- her passion, perseverance, adaptability, sensitivity and ability to love deeply are endearing. Julian Bellamy is a complex character whose secrets and past transgressions keep the reader wanting to discover more. While his motivations and compelling love for Lilly are clearly defined, the reader is kept in suspense- what is the whole story behind Julian Bellamy? The build up to the spectacular conclusion of the tale is a bit slow- too slow. At times, my interest waned. Overall, I was most pleased and enjoyed the book. Very steamy!
