Our grandmother (Nana) was very fair, very loving, and sweet and clever, she called us her "three little brown boys." She called us this because we were outside so much, she said "We looked like three little coffee beans." When I was in grade school at Saint Sebastian's in West Los Angeles, CA, one of my teachers taught me that "A picture is worth 1,000 words." I don't recall if she said where the quote came from at the time, but I read that Fred R. Barnard wrote it 10 March 1927 in Printers Inc. So, along with these memories I am including a number of family pictures, taken many years ago by my Nana, my Aunt Tina, my mother, my brothers Paul and Tony and my pop. All these stories are true and in the best order I can put them in I cannot remember in some cases which order they actually happened in.
