A Story to Grow On

This tale is not too big and not too small: it's just right. It's about the impatience most every child (here, in the guise of a small bear) feels about wanting to be bigger. Big enough to do all things the future promises. Slowly, surely, the little bear finds out (ah, that's what patience is!) that he IS growing, and probably no faster or slower than anyone else. Rosen's prose is simple, heartfelt, witty, and on target, and Gorbachev's pictures and welcoming and endearing. For kids big and small.
