WELCOME TO BLISS, IDAHO. POPULATION: 13 -- AND FALLING
Madeline Preston's summer veterinary internship was supposed to be simple: spend three months in rural Idaho with her beloved uncle learning about large-animal medicine, and use it as an opportunity to enjoy some quiet country life. But Bliss had other plans for her. When a rancher and his six pregnant cattle are found dead under mysterious circumstances, Madeline and mechanic Cody Roy discover that Bliss, Idaho's biggest problem isn't isolation. It's what's hunting them in the dark. With the bridge destroyed and the storm closing in, thirteen survivors barricade themselves in the town's only bar. Outside, the creatures circle. Inside, ammunition runs low, tempers run high, and by dawn, Bliss's population will be even smaller.
