Three Blind Mice

By Ken Decoteau

In the realm of military defense contractors, the weird might end your day.

Following actions of Book One: Fallen Apples, a team of security contractors from Research and Design International rushes to the aid of a United States Ambassador and staff who are on the run from unknown enemy forces just outside of Baku, Azerbaijan.

After only narrowly escaping an attempted capture, the team in Baku uncovers information indicating that the coordinated attack against their country and flag is neither over, nor quite as simple as it seems. The teams combine resources and knowledge to plan for and affect an escape from the once peaceful and safe shores of the Caspian Sea.

While on the run like mice in a maze of global scale, the teams also discover they have some internal blind spots. Those related to team chemistry. Perhaps too much team chemistry to maintain focus.
