The Ford family-Marica, Will, and their two young daughters-live in a beautiful present in Seattle, Washington. This is on account of a well-established rule-the past does not exist in their household. Not a word about Marica's childhood in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, nor about what Will lived through in the Troubles of Northern Ireland.
