at a time in my life light seemed further than near.
And writing and searching through the clouds though dark they seemed
I realized there was a light within, and it was me

And that light created by God was always there for us all
no matter what, when, or where, on this little blue ball
And on the battleground of life, we can rise above
and fly in the Heavens, as a snow white Dove
