Josephine Durdan Soucier was my paternal grandmother, who sadly passed away in June of 1997. Quite by chance, I learned of my grandmother's active participation in the world of poetry while writing my own book. This book is a compilation of her poems and other writings. They tell of a strong Christian woman who suffered much hardship in the early years of motherhood, but her faith in God did not allow it to affect her children, nor did she allow it to slow her down.
