Ruth Posner was born in Warsaw, Poland, came to England after WW2 and was educated at the Kendrick School for Girls, Reading and the London College of Dance and Drama. She was an original member of The London Contemporary Dance Company at the Place and taught movement at the major acting academies, RADA, LAMDA, Central School of Speech & Drama and Julliard School in New York. She received a MA in Theatre Art in Hunter College NY. She works as an actress and has appeared in theatre and television. She had two plays written for her by Julia Pascal.
