Those Who Dare Not is the story of a slave, Liza, and her master, Jasper Davidson. Although Marse Davidson is married to Miss Arabella, he finds the young house servant irresistible. Master and slave are separated during the War Between the States, but are reunited by their young daughter. Jasper must now choose to remain with his wife and sons, or attempt a future with his slave and their daughter.
