Slow start good finish

This book started off slowly taking its time describing life in a small town in southern Georgia. The suspense picks up a little more than halfway through but still manages to drag until 3/4 of the story. The terror that is across the river is done very well and is also explained decently. I wish the pacing was a little faster and the characters had more dimensions but would recommend the book to others.

Loved this novel.

I really enjoyed this one! It was well-paced and scary as hell. I was connected with the characters immediately and genuinely felt for them throughout the whole book. I can't recommend this one enough!

Those across the river

Well, the story starts off strong. Great characters and believable. But, it gets tired. It lacked a more emotional connection. A lot more could of been done, w/story.
