This Wall chronicles the life of a boy raised in Northern Ontario who knew from a young age what he wanted to be and achieve when he grew up.

He recounts in heart wrenching description the path to his careers and life goals that would be interrupted by the darkness and de pression as a result of physical and mental health issues, loss, a terminal diagnosis, and how his world came crashing down at the age of 52 when he was institutionalized as a result of mental health issues due to a childhood event. He shares the most inspirational memories of his life that helped guide him out of the darkness and gave him hope to continue to reach for his dreams and goals while maintaining a frank ness about his terminal diagnosis and what his future holds and his dreams to fulfil his next goals.

The core of Mark's story lies in his perseverance to overcome adversity, and gain hope through his reliance on the strength of family, the bonds of friendship, the love of his career and his own intenal strength and attitude to keep pushing the boundaries.
