This Really Happened in the Church?

For those of us who are Christians and attend church services every week, it can be very surprising to learn of some of the happenings which are most of the time hidden from the main body of believers. In this book, I have included some of those happenings and accounts which I have either experienced or have first hand knowledge of. There is not one account or event included in this book which is not based on an actual occurrence. Of course, names are fictional and minor tweaks have been made to these accounts but every one is based on what actually happened.
This is not a tell all or an attempt to expose anyone but simply an eye opening account of what might be happening in the local church where you attend. (hopefully not) These writings include how a false teaching can be slipped into a sermon or teaching, pastors who are dictators and not spiritual leaders, how money replaces soul winning, celebrity pastors, shysters among us, sexual immorality and more. We must never forget that Jesus is the head of the Church and pastors are His under shepherds. But many times, and in many local churches, the human element has taken over and pushed Jesus aside. That is when these types of things happen in a church and why some people think they are in charge and lose sight of the fact that it is Jesus who is still in control regardless of what they think. This book presents many truthful accounts of where this has happened.
