Gracie and Pete are the best of friends. A lazy Sunday afternoon suddenly becomes exciting when Pete asks Gracie to come see what showed up in his back yard. The bike ride down the dirt road to Pete's house ends with a mountain of trash behind his house. Gracie, at twelve years old, is the mature one. Pete, a year older, follows her lead. Gracie's lead is not the road of caution. She wants this trash going back to wherever it came from, and she's just the girl to make it happen. First, they have to find out where it came from. That takes them a little further than they thought.
