These united bits of paper are a home, sculpted for my poems and epiphanies. The pages harbor works induced by encounters with grief, desolation, illness, narcissistic abuse, mortality, recovery, transition and growth. As a family, the writings complete a rough sketch of my most memorable experiences. My hope is that this book can be a nest for those wishing to retreat temporarily in order to find solace through the examination of shared, all-too-common, human hardships. These pieces are paired with plants and various items of sentimental value, illustrated by, the incredibly gifted Christine Witherow.
