Riveting!

What can I say but Shani Struthers has done it again with Rohaise, the newest installment in This Haunted World series. This was inspired by Delgatie Castle in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, in Scotland and I was immediately enthralled. I am of Scottish descent and my Grandfather had worked on a crofter's farm in Aberdeenshire, Scotland for years when he was young. So naturally, I loved the setting. Rohaise was a gentle child of the forest who met and fell in love with Alexander, a Laird who was accused of betraying the king. Rohaise gave herself up to the king's men in order to save Alexander's life. This book is her story and WOW is it ever an engrossing tale. Centuries later Kenna Jackson takes on the job of Drumlin Castle's manager and almost from the very first she is drawn to the story of Rohaise. Unfortunately, not very much is known about or documented about Rohaise and Alexander's story, so Kenna begins the search for more knowledge and begins experiencing strange dreams and feelings she feels are from Rohaise. This is a really good book and all I can say is read it for yourself. You will not be sorry. And I would also recommend reading some of Shani Struthers' other novels. You will not be disappointed.
