AN ABSOLUTE GEM AND A BLESSING!

I first learned of This Far By Faith in a womans magazine. It wasn't released yet but, the title alone made me think "am I putting God first in my everyday living?" Once I purchased the book I could not put it down--it covered all facets of life--reminding me that with faith in God nothing is impossible. I use it as a companion to my Bible and I was led to bless my friend with it and she also loved it! I intend to purchase more copies to give as gifts this holiday to encourage others to always keep the faith! There's so much more that I could say but the most important thing is that it will absolutely impact your life in every way.

A Best Kept Secret

I was privileged to receive a copy of this book for my 30th Birthday. I was at a point in my life when I decided to leave my comfort zone and pursue my long-time passions and dreams. As I began to read the book I quickly decided that this was something I needed to digest slowly. This book was not only a detailed exploration of faith but offered practical and spiritual insight into everyday living. This is a book that I will read repeatedly and each time a different chapter will likely speak to my current experience.This book was also read by members of a bookclub at my church. The members really loved this book as it inspired them to explore various areas of their lives including friendships and raising children. One member shared how the book was a great conversation starter in public places and another said it was the most useful book she had ever read.From a discussion of "friendship" to "answering your call," the authors have not only shared their faith journey but offered practical wisdom and spiritual insight that will guide you along your own faith journey.

Growing in Grace

When we consider the mystery of this journey, the day to day walk with our Lord one can't help but think of the many roads that have been traveled. Some smooth and than others at times quite rough, but overall devinly guided thru his grace and love. Not just an inward revelation, but an outward expression of his hand changing our lives, and inturn changing the world. I'm thankfull to the lord for touching the hearts of Andria and linnie for not just putting on paper words, but his word applied to day to day living which brings growth, wisdom and new challenges. Some would think this is a book just for women, well not so. God's word applied to every aspect of our lives brings revelation and truth to live by. As I continue to read thru I can't help but to stop and think about the area's of my life being mentioned. Isn't that what it's all about. The book causes us to stop and reflect on the issues that touch our lives and how the word of god can be applied. Thank you for your straight forwardness, honesty and commitment to the Lord.....

Spiritual! Down to Earth! A book for every woman!!!

This book is written for every woman who needs some spiritual guidance. The prayers and the reviews at the end of each Chapter were very inspiring. Quoting the bible helped me to understand a little bit further of what they were trying to say and gave me another source of information to read. It is a very down to earth book, very easy to read. Linnie and Andria both used every day events to tell their story of faith. I will read it again and again. I refer to it for the many wonderful prayers. I especially liked the one in Chapter Two, "Lord, let me listen". I used it recently at my bible study. I also liked the way it was sectioned, e.g. Friendships, Marriage, Jobs etc. which makes it easy for future reference. An excellent book! I am looking forward to their next book.
