While similar, they have different goals. Moral Law focuses on right and wrong. Human Law, on the other hand, is focused on providing for an orderly society. Government should be according to Human, not Moral Law.What if there was a new Political Party? In 1912, the Progressive Party was formed by former President Teddy Roosevelt. The platform asserted that "to destroy this invisible Government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day." Among other things, the party supported women's suffrage, a National Health Service, Social insurance, and limits (and disclosure) of political campaign contributions. In the spirit of the original Progressive Party, a new option needs to be given to the United States public.This book lays out a platform for a Modern Progressive Party. It offers a picture of how our government should be run, based on respect for every individual. It presents an application of Human Law to improve government.
