What I am about to say might sound confusing. But it is not meant to be. First, this book is about me. But second, it is NOT about me. In the following pages, I will share thirteen times from my life when the Lord had spoken directly to me. For the first three times, I had NOT known what was happening. For the last ten times plus one, I had been fully aware of what was happening. So in that sense, this book is about me. It will share fourteen experiences from my life. But this book is not really about me because the goal is to show how anyone can have the same kind of close personal relationship with the Lord that I have had. There are certain things that anyone can do to bring himself or herself into the Lord's presence. Hopefully by the time that the reader has gotten to the end of the final chapter, some fresh ideas will come to mind about how to make that relationship happen. I have wanted to write this book for a very long time. So maybe, this will be my final book. But as always, my desire has been to bring praise, honor, and glory to the Lord. He is worthy because of all that He does and has done for those who have come to Him.
