James Murdock is a writer, naturalist and educator from Jasper County, Georgia. He is a graduate of the Narrative Nonfiction MFA program based out of the University of Georgia's Grady College. Murdock writes primarily about nature and agriculture, and how such topics intersect with the human spirit. He lives on a farm outside of Monticello with his wife, Jenna, his daughter, Tallulah, and many plants and animals. This is his first poetry collection.
