Adila is a 25-year-old woman who went through several traumatic events as a young girl. She spent part of her childhood hospitalized, and though much better today, her behavior in general and her romantic behavior in particular are still affected.

Though Adila is Arab-Muslim who believes in God with all her heart, she deviates the boundaries of her religion and falls in love with a man she meets at her workplace. The strong emotions she develops towards him, gives her the courage to go against the customs and traditions of her society.

Once the relationship ends and the man she fell in love with, leaves her, Adila falls apart; hurt and betrayed. She believes that everything in life has a reason, even if she does not understand it. But her emotional pain is unbearable and considers taking her own life.

She must deal with the pain of the separation and discovers that in difficult times we are alone. Adila must conquer the inclination inside her if she wants to survive the worst moments of her life.
