Thingamajig: book one in a series for brave girls

Welcome to book one of my brave girls series. My intention is to create inspirational children's books focused on girls growing to be brave and strong, more open with their words and feelings, reaching for their dreams, one step at a time.
Thingamajig began with an attempt to just see if I could write a children's book. I was attempting a poem and couldn't think of the word I was turning my brain for, Thingamajig appeared, and it went from there.
My daughter is 20. I raised her and her brothers for 12 years on my own. Raising them to think for themselves, speak their minds, be kind to others and then having the success of them coming to me with the hard things and being completely open, was always my goal. Our next generation will be better than us in so many ways. Their talent and energy to make things better is inspiring.
I hope this series is read to girls around the world, and inspiration is found in each page.
