Noetic Therapy is as ancient as humanity. It is woven into the mystery of how the essence of God actualizes itself through human evolution, and how the alchemical relationship of our inner and outer realities mirrors in our creativity, producing the evolution of our consciousness. This ancient lineage weaves into our therapeutic practice as the understanding and resolution of beliefs, accessing the healer within, and joining with the field of Love that flows through us and meets us in creation are the keys to healing.
The current writing evolved from my observations and concerns about teaching and guiding practitioners. I also have an extensive background in counselor education in a more conventional sense through the development of Southwestern College. At first, I directed my comments toward students of the Noetic Balancing technique. As the material took shape, I realized that the insights had value for anyone practicing the various expressions of energy healing and therapy, as well as for therapists with a holistic or spiritual approach to conventional counseling and therapeutic work.
From my perspective, Noetic Balancing is a spiritual approach to therapy that may seem highly speculative to some because of its mystical and metaphysical roots. The approach requires a degree of trust in one's sensibility and the implementation of mind, body, and spirit as research instruments. This writing is an invitation to enquiry. The Noetic Practitioners will find the invitation an easy transition. To readers new to this perspective, I offer an invitation to embrace the familiar resonances of our viewpoint, honor any divergence, trust the movement of any reactions, and be open to the generosity of this perspective.
