A Diet Of Mystery!

This is a great book to cuddle up with next to a roaring fire. It's easy to read yet the plot will absorb you. The heroine, Candice, is a down-to-earth sleuth who finds herself in the middle of a great investigation. I recommend this book to everyone who loves a mystery!

An addictive tale of the tumultuous and seedy inner lives of Vegas and Hollywood players. A fun one for anyone who has even tangentially come in contact with that type. Though at heart this book is a mystery, I found myself smiling and at times laughing aloud at the witty repartee of Candace. The character descriptions are razor-sharp. My only lament with the book is it's short length - it was such a page-turner that it was over before I knew it.

A Good Choice

This is a really fun read. It starts off so humorously that the reader is almost unprepared when the plot twists into a bonafide suspence-thriller. This book will surprize you!

Great Beach Book!

I took this book to the beach and I got so wrapped up in the story I got a sunburn! Baughmann succeeded in creating another heroine as likable as Patrice Kelsey (from her last book, "A Spy Within") and a story that is at once suspenceful and funny. I highly recommend it
