They say blue elves taste the sweetest, but I'd like to think I'm bitter. Elgrew killed my parents when I was sixteen, and I've been responsible for protecting my little sister ever since. With nowhere else to go, we joined the resistance, and I've spent the past five years fine-tuning my body into the perfect weapon to get revenge on the monsters who destroyed our home.

LYRICK
My father wants me to be something I'm not. He expects me to rule over the elgrew city beside him, but the way we treat elves disgusts me-the fighting pits, the butcher's blocks, the pleasure houses we put them in-they make my skin crawl. I'd much rather live in the forest where I can hunt and eat the creatures ethically, but that isn't an option. My father has given me two choices-join him or die, and I might die anyway if he discovers my greatest secret.
Five years ago, I committed treason by letting the blue elf go. Now, Arden and I are connected mentally and physically by the bite I left on her palm. She's dangerous, lethal, and I've let the elf run wild, anticipating how thrilling it'll be to hunt her down. When we finally meet again, I'm certain it'll be nothing short of catastrophic.
