When Steve Preston, an unhappily married man, saves the life of an alien girl she asks what he would like as a reward. He jokingly says nothing unless he can go back 35 years before he was married and live his life again. She considers this a reasonable request and, much to his amazement, agrees. You would think that armed with this foresight things would go well -unfortunately things are more complicated for him than he imagines and on each trip back in time the situation becomes more and more involved and convoluted.
