For a long time, I lived to meet the expectations of others. One day, I made a powerful decision to choose myself. This choice ignited a fire within me, leading me to write from the depths of my heart. Some poems came to me in the stillness of night, awakening me from my dreams, while others compelled me to pull over on the side of the road, eager to capture the words being formed in my head. In these profound moments, I realized it was time to release my story into the universe for my own healing journey from the aftermath of coming out to my family.
