Thermal Imaging Systems by Lloyd - My Review

Lloyds "Thermal Imaging Systems" is the classic textbook for anyone dealing with the design and performance of forward looking infrared (FLIR) sensors. Although somewhat dated it is a must have desk reference for all FLIR engineers and rated right up there with other such classics like Hudsons "Infrared Systems Engineering".

Good info on system performance

The equations used to explain Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference and other parameters are very helpful in doing IR system tradeoffs.
